Complete loss of joint movement refers to a situation known as dislocation, where the joint surfaces have entirely lost contact, which is not applicable to a subluxation. Similarly, while some subluxations may resolve on their own with minimal intervention, it is not guaranteed that full recovery occurs without some treatment or management.
